A Roman Temple - 2021

“I found Rome a city of bricks and left it a city of marble.” - Augustus, first Roman Emperor.

I made this asset as a modelling exercise on Maya. I previously had to build a background temple for the NFTS module Take One Painting; at the time I built the column capitals with brute force and a lot of time. I decided to go back and use deformers for the first time to build the same elements but in a non-destructive way, smarter and faster. Textured in Substance and rendered through Arnold.
