Printing Factory - 2024

“Before printing was discovered, a century was equal to a thousand years.” Henry David Thoreau.

Modelled in Maya and textured in Substance, those machines were used in a procedural setup in Houdini to create a very large layout of a newspaper printing factory floor. The rails linking the machines together were also procedural to be able to easily animate claws carring the pages to travel around the layout.
