A Biplan toy for stop motion - 2021

We can do things that we never could before. Stop-motion lets you build tiny little worlds, and computers make that world even more believable.” - Nick Park.

This asset was designed for a transition shot between a live action sequence into a stop motion animated world. The goal was to achieve an aesthetic that would match the photorealism of the live action plate but also announce the incoming look of animation. Modelled in Maya, wood sculpt in Zbrush, textured in Substance and rendered in Arnold.
